On this afternoon members are invited to see and listen to some different aspects and uses of Richard Wagner’s works and music. We’ll be starting with a very condensed version of Die Walküre as performed by marionettes and people, then some extracts from YouTube in which the Master’s music has been used with comic effect. The screenings will be followed by afternoon tea with cake, where members can discuss the program and other topics that may arise.
