WSNSW NEXT EVENT ON SUNDAY 12 SEPTEMBER 2021

Anna-Louise Cole in conversation with Dr Robert Mitchell via zoom at 2.00pm on Sunday 12 September [AEST]

Owing to the Sydney Covid-19 Lockdown extended at least to the end of September, our next event will not be an in-person event with soprano Anna-Louise Cole. Instead, Anna-Louise will speak with Dr Robert Mitchell via zoom.

We encourage members and friends to join this zoom talk.  Members of the public are most welcome.

Step 1: Registration: Those wishing to join the zoom session will need to register by replying to this email. 

Step 2: Payment of registration fee of $10: An e-invoice will be emailed to those who register, for payment by debit or credit card.

Registration and fee: due by Thursday 9 September please. 

Step 3: Emailing of Zoom link: This will be emailed on Friday 10 September to those who have registered and paid, and again on the morning of the zoom.

 

About Anna-Louise Cole

Anna-Louise Cole is an Australian young dramatic soprano, and currently a member of Opera Australia’s Moffat Oxenbould Young Artist Program.

Born in Melbourne, Anna-Louise holds a BA Hons in German and a BMus Hons in Music Performance (Voice) from the University of Melbourne. During her degrees, Anna-Louise also studied at the Kunst Universität Graz, Austria and Karl-Ludwigs Universität, in Freiburg, Germany, through scholarships from Melbourne Abroad and the Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst.

Anna-Louise was to make her role debuts as Sieglinde in cycles one and two, and Brünnhilde in cycle three in Opera Australia’s new Ring Cycle in Brisbane, sharing the roles with Olivia Cranwell and Lise Lindstrom.

WSNSW JESSICA HARPER IN THE ÉVA MARTON INTERNATIONAL SINGING COMPETITION

 

 

Jessica Harper is an artist who has been supported by the Wagner Society in NSW.

Jessica sang Bist du!’ by Liszt in the first Preliminary of the Competition held in Budapest at 8.00pm on 30 August [CEST] which was 4.00am this morning in Sydney.
